This is about the complex and fascinating connection between the Old Testament festival of Shavuot and the New Testament festival of Pentecost.
Both days symbolize “fire from heaven” in a fascinating way. In the Old Testament, the Lord sent His fire—as a sign of His presence—to the very place He had chosen as His dwelling place.

As the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19), we are today the place God has chosen as His dwelling. He desires to fill this temple more and more with His fire and His glory.
