Recognizing our calling is of the greatest importance. The goal is that we perceive our calling and actually move fully forward in it and serve the Lord effectively in it.

Sigrid looks with you at two almost unknown figures of the Bible, not kings, not priests, not prophets, not leaders of a great army, not judges, not princes of one of the tribes of Israel. But they were nevertheless important, very important indeed. They were called, anointed, filled, and more than that. They had been enabled by God in a special way. In Exodus 31 we find Bezalel and Oholiab, two special men who brought God's plans to completion. What can we learn from them?

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, as good stewards of God's varied grace.
