The Bible reveals to us the heavenly Father – Yahweh, whose faithfulness does not depend on circumstances. For His faithfulness is not a temporary reaction to our faith and our prayers; it belongs to His eternally unchanging nature. Faithfulness is part of who He is. That means: His faithfulness remains, no matter what the situation may look like.

Our hope as children of God lies not only in the removal of our earthly difficulties, but in the eternal faithfulness of God, which reaches even beyond death.

With Holy Communion—please prepare.
