As human beings—and as children of God—we find ourselves time and again in a position to be dissatisfied. We focus on what is missing, on what isn’t going the way we imagined, on situations where our prayers haven’t yet been answered, and on times when we see lack, difficult circumstances, or problems. We’ve all been there.

But even if this is human nature (and, in some cases, good and necessary), it can a danger are, if we focusing too much on what we are truly or supposedly lacking. 

Be assured: Our Lord is always God. He is always good. He is always the Provider, the Savior, the Helper, the Healer, the Liberator. It is always the right time to praise and glorify Him. And It's always a good time to be excited about Him.

With Holy Communion—please prepare.

Now don't throw away your confidence, which is the one big reward ...because you need perseverance so that, after you have done the will of God, carries the promise. Hebrews 10:35–36
